Apartment rental policies
City Style Apartments property rental terms and conditions
1 Check-in and check-out.
1.1 Check in is agreed beforehand and it starts from 14:00 on the arrival day the keys are given to you at
the apartment if not stated otherwise.
1.2 Check out is 11:00 if not agreed otherwise.
2 Payments, arrival and keys
2.1 A non refundable advance payment of 30% is paid during the booking process .
2.2 The remainder payment of 70 % depends on your arrival time and if you have ordered a transfer to the apartment here are the options:
A. You know your arrival details (flight nr, ferry arrival) and you have ordered a transfer to the apartment (transfer costs 20 EUR ):
then you will receive the keys with all the necessary instructions with your transfer to the apartment and you will need to pay the remainder the latest on your arrival date (PayPal or bank transfer)
B. You don’t know your arrival time but it is during our office working times Monday to Friday from 9 to 17:30
you can receive the keys and the instructions from the Goodson & Red office located at Jõe nr 5, Tallinn and pay there on your arrival.
C. Your arrival is at time when our office is closed or you don’t know the arrival time:
you will receive the keys at the nearest Post24.ee automatic post terminal to your apartment rental and you will need to pay the remainder the latest on your arrival date (PayPal or bank transfer) . You will need to provide a valid mobile phone number to use this option as the access code will be sent by SMS . Additional charge of 2 EUR applies
D. Meet and greet when our employee meets you at the apartment with the keys and all the necessary instructions and shows the apartment. The price of this option is 35 EUR if the arrival is from 9:00 to 21:00 and 60 EUR if the arrival is from 21:00 to 9:00
2.3 Payments for high demand periods
– if the booking is for a high demand period then the remainder should be paid 30 days prior to arrival (those high demand periods can be found http://www.citystyleapartments.ee/faq/).
2.4 If deemed necessary by City Style Apartments PLC representative a damage deposit of 100 EUR should be paid on arrival or credit card guarantee form to be submitted. The damage deposit is fully refundable if there is no damage inflicted to the property
2.5 We accept PayPal, bank transfers and cash payments. You can make a PayPal payment with one of the following cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
3. Linen and towels are provided according to the number of guests. Fresh linen and towels can be provided once a week if your stay is longer than a week as an additional service and charges apply .
4. Damage and loss.
4.1 You have to pay for any damage caused during your stay which is beyond normal wear and tear.
4.2 The loss of the keys or if you leave and take the keys with you would be deduced from the damage deposit by 100 EUR or charged to your credit card (because locks should be changed too).
4.3 In case of damages the client will be added to international blacklist for other owners/companies to know.
4.4 The Tenants shall maintain the premises in a good, clean, and ready to rent condition, and use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner. The tenants shall leave the premises in a ready to rent condition at the expiration of the rental agreement, defined by the Landlord as being immediately habitable by the next tenants. Tenants shall pay for maintenance and repairs should the premises be left in a lesser condition. The tenants agree that the Landlord shall deduct costs of said services from the security deposit (or charged to the provided credit card ) prior to refund if tenants cause damage to the premises or its furnishings.
5 People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. No social gatherings are allowed in the apartments.
6 All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
7 Smoking is NOT allowed OR Smoking is allowed outside only. In case this rule is violated, City Style Apartments has the right to charge the costs of cleaning the carpets, sofas, curtains and the rent of the following 3 (three) days while the apartment is being aired.
8 Pets are allowed only in certain properties and only if the dog owners guarantee to leave the property without any pet hair. Pets must be well behaved or they will be asked to leave
9 The Landlord has the right to inspect the premises without prior notice at any time to enforce the terms of this agreement. Should the Tenants violate any of the terms of this agreement, the rental period shall be terminated immediately. The Tenants waive all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the rental period. The Tenants shall vacate the premises at the expiration time and date of this agreement.
10 The Tenants shall behave in a civilized manner and shall be good neighbors respecting the rights of the surrounding property owners. The Tenants shall not create noise or disturbances likely to disturb or annoy the surrounding property owners at all times. Creating a disturbance of the above nature shall be grounds for immediate termination of this agreement and Tenants shall then immediately vacate the premises in which case the paid rent will not be refunded.. Quiet hour starts at 10 PM
11 We occasionally experience outages that are beyond our control. We report outages as each occurs. No refunds or compensation will be given for any outages.
12 There shall be no refunds of rents due to shortened stays or ruined expectations because of weather conditions.
13 There shall be no refunds of rents because of shortened stays or ruined expectations due to work and family emergencies or other commitments.
14 High speed wireless internet is provided as a convenience only and is not integral to the agreement. No refund of rents shall be given for outages, content, lack of content, speed, access problems, lack of knowledge of use, or personal preferences with regard to internet service.
15. Tenants are financially responsible for any damages/losses caused by his/her or third party’s negligent behavior. City Style Apartments has the right to inform the Tenant of any damages/losses in 7 (seven) days after the departure of Tenant.
16. Tenant is financially responsible for any extra services ordered during one’s stay (i.e. video films, services purchased by tv ,etc)
